OUR GREEN PLEDGE

We have taken steps within our business ethics to consider our impact on the environment and our carbon footprint.

As a business, there is a lot we can do to help combat some of the environmental issues that are becoming more and more prominent in our daily lives and its fair to say that we can all do more to protect the environment we live in.

100% PURE ELECTRIC VEHICLE

All our viewings, appraisals, move in’s and checkout’s are undertaking using our 100% pure electric vehicle thereby reducing carbon emissions and pollution by providing a clean and environmentally friendly approach to our business ethic. 

 

Research has shown that pure electric vehicles emit less greenhouse gases over their lifetime compared to a diesel or petrol car.

OUR OFFICE

Our office premises on Beulah Road is lit using LED lighting rather than halogen. Whilst LED lighting is 80% more efficient than fluorescent or incandescent lights, only 5% of the light is wasted as heat thereby using less energy, reducing demand from power plants and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. LED bulbs will also be used for the main retail area.

 

Our front courtyard area has a large handmade planter containing a selection of flowers providing much needed food and nourishment for bees and insects as well as maintaining an interesting and colourful appearance to the shop front!

The Gray House is on a mission to be 99% paperless by utilising modern day technology to our advantage.

 

  • Agreements and associated paperwork all signed and delivered via email
  • Paperless billing and communication
  • Any nominal amount of paper we do waste will all be recycled.
